If you’ve been looking for a delicious nut-free pesto recipe, we’ve got you covered! This pesto is perfect and I don’t even miss the pine nuts. Plus, it’s quick and easy to blend up.
This pesto is great for snacking on with bread or bagel chips, but also yummy in sandwiches, pasta, and veggies!
The great thing is, you can switch it up and use a combination of your favorite greens to suit your own taste/needs.
Be sure to try it and let us know your perfect blend of greens. Mine was basil, parsley and spinach!
- 2 cups basil (or a combination of your choice of greens like parsley, spinach, and basil.)
- 2 cloves garlic
- ½ cup quality romano cheese
- ⅓ cup extra virgin olive oil
- Toss all ingredients into food processor or blender and blend until pesto is a paste. You can add additional olive oil as needed to get desired consistency.
